We are an innovative FinTech company developing cutting-edge AI tools. As a Data Science intern, you will work on projects involving financial data analysis, investment research, and risk modelling.

Responsibilities:

  • Data cleaning, wrangling, and pre-processing for financial datasets.
  • Assisting investment teams in equity research, fixed income research, portfolio management, and economic analysis.
  • Applying statistical techniques to financial problems such as credit risk modelling, probability of default, and value-at-risk estimation.
  • Working with big data sources including financial reports, macroeconomic datasets, and alternative investment data.
  • Analysing, visualizing, and modelling financial data using Python, Excel or R.
  • Participating in research projects related to quantitative trading, financial derivatives, and portfolio optimization.

Requirements

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to self-learn and work independently in a remote, flexible environment.
