Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Automation Engineer to lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SCADA and MES applications across manufacturing operations. This individual will be responsible for architecting and implementing real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting solutions.

  • Lead the design configuration and deployment of Ignition SCADA and MES applications
  • Architect and implement real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting solutions
  • Ensure seamless integration of OT systems with enterprise IT systems
  • Develop and maintain secure, efficient data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA protocols
  • Manage industrial databases for high availability and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to align system capabilities with production and business needs
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Strong background in MES functions, production tracking, OEE, downtime analysis, traceability, and SPC
  • Proficiency with database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience with OT-IT integration technologies, including REST APIs and MQTT
  • Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, and plant floor connectivity
  • Familiarity with manufacturing standards such as ISA95, ISA88, ISA99, and IEC 62443
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience with cloud-based IIoT platforms such as Azure IoT and AWS IoT
