Executive Social Media Manager

Role Description:

We seek a skilled social media executive to oversee and develop our online presence. The ideal candidate will have experience in crafting engaging captions, creating content for various social media platforms, and managing promotional campaigns.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy to maximize page reach, traffic, and interactions.
  • Crafting compelling captions and creating content for various social media formats, such as reels, memes, and carousel posts.
  • Tracking trending content and creating posts that resonate with our audience.
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics for optimizing post performance.
  • Adhering to the planning/content calendar for social media.
  • Collaborating with the publishing team to create visually appealing content.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 1 year's experience with a reputable entertainment publisher or agency.
  • A basic understanding of social media analysis and tools like Meta analytics, YouTube Studio, etc.
  • A basic knowledge of Photoshop and other image/video editing tools.
  • Ability to work in roster-based shifts.
  • An understanding of copyright requirements and issues is essential.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets, Slides, and Docs.
  • Flexibility to work outside office hours in case of a breaking story or event.
  • A team player with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
