Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled online educator to work on a part-time basis with our team. As an experienced online educator, you will be responsible for providing academic support and delivery responsibilities to a diverse international student body. You will work under the guidance of an experienced university faculty member and receive specialized training and active mentorship from our team.

A Master's or Doctoral Degree (with industry experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, ICT Management, or related field is required. You should have 5+ years of experience in teaching programming courses, especially cloud technologies, big data, or data engineering courses.

The role involves delivering weekly lectures for a minimum of two hours per session, providing subject matter guidance, supporting learning skills, and assessing marking with feedback. You will also be expected to interact with students over email promptly or in online sessions from locations of your convenience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality educational content to a group of 25-30 undergraduate online students
  • Support students in developing their learning skills, including academic writing, research, and time management
  • Mark assessments and provide feedback to students
  • Respond to student queries via email within a timely manner
