About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Operational Excellence Specialist to drive improvement initiatives and enhance our continuous improvement culture. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and lead performance transformation projects, focusing on operational effectiveness and profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing cost improvement projects through operational efficiencies.
  • Establishing policies and defining standards for group manufacturing excellence.
  • Conducting diagnostics to identify areas for improvement and value stream mapping exercises to define processes.
  • Proposing and supporting projects and programs within the businesses to identify improvement levers and set smart objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering.
  • At least 5-8 years' experience in project/program management, operational excellence/continuous improvement, or consulting roles.
  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and proven experience with Lean Six Sigma are highly desirable.

Key Skills:

  • Strong technical skills and impact/influence skills.
  • Experience in implementation of OE/CI projects in manufacturing environments.
  • Project Management skills and initiative.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred; education with a scientific background is highly desired.
  • Relevant work experience: BS/BA in a scientific or business discipline and at least 5-8 years' experience in project/program management, operational excellence / continuous improvement, or consulting role required.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology field and relevant MS/MBA (Project Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, etc.) preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering, Chemical Engineering preferred.
  • Extensive previous experience in implementation of OE/CI projects in manufacturing (pharmaceutical preferred) environment.
  • Certified Six sigma Black Belt.
  • Proven experience with Lean Six Sigma experience to drive business results.
