Indirect Procurement Specialist

Job Title: Indirect Procurement Specialist
About the RoleAs an Indirect Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing procurement operations for indirect materials and services within a geographical scope. Your key focus areas will include working with various systems such as SAP ARIBA, ALTES for eRFQs, and other tools for vendor creation, monitor supplier performance, QCDT, and delivering cost savings.
Key Responsibilities- Negotiate and manage supplier panel relationships, monitor local supplier QCDT performances, and promote Alstom's Code of Ethics.
- Monitor day-to-day supplier performances and issues, and provide support to commodity managers in tender phases.
- Closely work with the commodity manager team and tactical buyers on site in high-value project requirements and upfront activities.
- Engineering degree (BE, B Tech) or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in indirect procurement in the industry sector.
- Comprehensive knowledge of indirect commodities, good knowledge of raw material price scenarios, machinery, and labor rates.
- Fluent English is a must, and international background is preferred.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, as well as presentation skills on technical matters to management teams and stakeholders.
