Job Overview

This role involves overseeing the smooth functioning of our finance operations. The key responsibilities include:

Transfer of Securities
  • Security Transfer Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements throughout the transfer process.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless transfers, including obtaining necessary approvals and preparing required documentation.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of security ownership and all related transactions.
Partners' Books Administration
  • Financial Recordkeeping: Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of financial records and books of partners.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and update financial statements for partners, including calculating profit shares.
  • Audit Support: Provide support for audit processes and prepare relevant documentation as needed.
Financial Reporting
  • Financial Report Generation: Assist in the preparation of financial reports: monthly, quarterly, and annual.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities; present actionable findings to management.
Compliance & Governance
  • Internal Control Compliance: Adhere to established internal control systems, company policies, and applicable laws/regulations.
  • Best Practice Implementation: Assist in establishing and implementing best practices for finance operations to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Collaboration
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with other finance team members, auditors, and external parties to ensure seamless operations and compliance.
  • Project Support: Provide support for finance-related projects as required, including process improvements and system upgrades.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory: CMA qualification (Cost & Management Accountant), fully qualified or in advanced stage.
  • At least 2 years of experience in finance operations, specifically in security transfers and partners' books administration.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Proficient user of accounting software; advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
