Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Prepare and amend financial models with accurate information from business teams, public domains, and other resources.
  • Develop detailed transaction structuring and assessment for credit notes, focusing on the assessment part of the sought credit facility.
  • Regularly interact with collections and sales teams to track delinquencies.
  • Study delinquent cases to derive learning and share insights with the team.
  • Meet customers at regular intervals to understand industry and market trends.
  • Pre-approve and rate clients with exposure over Rs 500L.
  • Conduct training sessions for sales, channel partners, and field staff on product policies and processes.
  • Monitor post-disbursement documents, including invoices, insurance, and RCs, through interaction with sales and customers.
  • Manage portfolios to meet quality documentation, post-disbursement document, and delinquency level requirements.
  • Work on projects and process improvements as needed.
  • Evaluate transaction, business, and financial risks associated with borrowers and industries.
  • Identify relevant risks and submit mitigation plans accordingly.
  • Perform detailed financial analysis, attending to major P&L and balance sheet movements, and citing precise reasons for such movements.
  • Prepare credit notes with transaction structure and credit view, detailing risks and mitigants.
  • Conduct detailed financial appraisals covering business models, working capital cycles, and profitability.
  • Develop market intelligence by engaging with people in other banks and FIs regarding their policies, focus areas, and portfolio health.
  • Identify automation opportunities in existing processes and new product development.
  • Ensure quality of credit underwriting.
  • Raise early warning signals for stress account exits and take timely measures.
  • Minimize audit queries, including RBI and statutory audits, and resolve them within prescribed timelines.
  • Apply market knowledge of CE/CV market practices.
  • Engage actively in customer visits.
  • Provide regular market intelligence reports.
