Software Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in requirements discussions, testing, implementation, documentation, maintenance, and support of systems application software.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • • Participate in requirements discussions, test planning, test data creation, and execution of user acceptance testing plans.
  • • Design and develop technical solutions and alternatives to meet business requirements in adherence with industry standards and best practices.
  • • Work with project teams to meet scheduled due dates while identifying emerging issues and recommending solutions for problems.
  • • Document software programs per software development best practices and follow quality assurance and control processes.

About the Role

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
  • Must be high-energy, detail-oriented, and proactive with the ability to function under pressure in an independent environment.
  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written - with strong relationship, collaborative skills, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work as a member of a matrix-based diverse and geographically distributed project team.
