Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Product Security Engineer to join our team at Cloud Software Group. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for leading and executing the Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) for our On-Prem and Cloud products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the SDL for our On-Prem and Cloud products to ensure security robustness.
  • Lead a team of security engineers for diverse types of product security related projects and workstreams.
  • Drive and execute SDL best practices and its integration with CI/CD, Agile, and Waterfall development models.
  • Create and deliver advanced security training and guidance to product engineers.
  • Guide product development teams on design changes as per security requirements.
  • Establish and maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all work.
  • Communicate technical issues within scope of assignment.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in Security Engineering.
  • Full-time degree in Engineering (preferably Computer Science related).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate optimally and clearly with different stakeholders in engineering teams.
  • Expertise in at least three of these areas in security – Unix System, Web, Network, Cloud, Cryptography.
  • Deep understanding of application architecture and design principles.
  • Experience in design review and threat modelling activities.
  • Enthusiasm for staying up to date with the latest updates about security threats and solutions.
