Job Description

The Security Architect will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing enterprise-class security systems for our production environment. This includes aligning security standards and frameworks with our overall business and technology strategy. You will also identify and communicate current and emerging security threats, design security architecture elements to mitigate these risks, and create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cyber security needs.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will have excellent communication skills, able to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong leadership, project, and team-building skills are essential for success in this role, as you will lead teams and drive projects and initiatives across multiple departments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you must have a degree in Information Security or a comparable education. A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in security architecture, consulting, and engineering is required. Your expertise should include designing and implementing security solutions, consulting and engineering security best practices, and knowledge of cloud computing security considerations.

You should have experience with identity and access management (IAM) frameworks and technologies, including VB.NET, Java/J2EE, ColdFusion, API/web services, scripting languages, and relational database management systems like MS SQL Server or Oracle. Familiarity with ISO27001, Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies (COBIT), Windows, and UNIX environments is also necessary.
