Job Description:

The role of Pricing Model Manager involves creating and maintaining pricing models to support the business teams. This includes developing financial models, such as P&L and cash flow forecasts, based on customer pricing requirements.

  • Develop pricing models that take into account various cost elements, including rates for different geographies and skills.
  • Lead effective price reviews on large opportunities, working closely with sales and delivery teams.
  • Understand rate cards for different geographies and skills, with a focus on technology-driven solutions.
  • Oversee the development and enhancement of pricing tools to support complex deal pricing.

Pricing models must be accurate, consistent, and easily interpretable by business teams. As a Pricing Model Manager, you will produce management reports for leadership teams, providing valuable insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A professional qualification such as an MBA, CA, CFA, or CA Inter, with 10+ years of experience.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in pricing and costing, preferably in the IT sector.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to respond under pressure.
  • Basics of financial management and a good understanding of financial statements.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel.
  • The ability and drive to work independently.
