We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our Sales team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cost estimation, document formatting, proposal drafting, and RFQ analysis.

Job Location: Remote

Prerequisites:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering

Experience: 3-5 years in automation or HVAC-related estimation

Functional Skills:

Cost Estimation:

  • Utilize industry knowledge and past project data to prepare detailed cost estimates
  • Continuously refine estimation methodologies and processes

Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and production teams to ensure estimation inputs align with execution strategy and project timelines

Proposal and Documentation Development:

  • Assist in the development of proposals, bids, and tender documents by providing accurate cost estimates and technical insights

Client and Vendor Interaction:

  • Engage with clients, contractors, and vendors to address inquiries and clarify technical details

Risk Management and Continuous Learning:

  • Stay updated with technological advancements and industry best practices

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate, timely, and competitive cost estimations for Controls, HVAC, DDC, and PLC systems. This involves close coordination with design, procurement, and production teams to align estimates with technical documentation and execution feasibility. Key responsibilities include:

Project Assessment:

  1. Evaluate project specifications, technical requirements, and scope of work
  2. Conduct technical analysis and feasibility studies
  3. Ensure engineering design integrity

Cross-Functional Coordination:

  1. Coordinate with Design, Procurement, and Production teams
  2. Provide support to Project and Operations teams

Proposal and Documentation Development:

  1. Assist in the development of proposals and tender documents
  2. Prepare comprehensive documentation

Client and Vendor Interaction:

  1. Engage with clients and vendors

Risk Management and Continuous Learning:

  1. Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies
  2. Stay updated with industry best practices
