Job Title: Software Engineering Leadership Position

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced software engineering leader to join our team. As a senior manager, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring high-performing engineers to deliver timely, high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and guide high-performing engineering teams
  • Be an inspiring leader in building services for next-generation multi-cloud services
  • Deliver high-performance web services adaptable to dynamic business needs
  • Build and lead a world-class data engineering team
  • Promote data-driven decisions for feature identification, prioritization, and delivery
  • Manage multiple projects, including timelines, customer interaction, and feature tradeoffs
  • Diligently communicate with partner teams and stakeholders
  • Help shape long-term architecture and technology choices across the full client and services stack
  • Partner with global product management and engineering leaders to shape technical product architecture & practices, roadmap, and release plans

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development with proven ability in management roles
  • Strong technical skills with experience in designing and developing enterprise applications
  • Expertise in Java/JEE, design, coding, and architectural skills along with problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Experience in developing and leading teams building solutions with cloud technologies (AWS and/or Azure)
  • Strong working knowledge of software development methodologies and software design patterns
  • Ambitious and not afraid to address unknowns, demonstrates a strong bias to action
  • Consistent track record developing, leading, coaching, and mentoring software engineers and engineering managers towards delivering timely, high-quality software as a team

Qualifications:

  • BS or MS or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
  • Passion and a love of what you do

Preferred Qualities:

  • Excellent speaking, writing, and presentation skills
  • Able to persuade, encourage, and empower others
