Job Title: Software Engineering Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineering manager to lead our dynamic team in developing and delivering high-quality software solutions. As a product-based company, we specialize in revolutionizing the landscape of data security through innovative solutions powered by cutting-edge technologies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of talented engineers in the development and delivery of high-quality software solutions. They will play a crucial role in driving technical excellence, fostering a collaborative team environment, and ensuring the successful execution of projects.

  • Leadership Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, hire, and coach a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear goals and objectives for the team and individuals and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, and develop top engineering talent.
  • Manage resource allocation, capacity planning, and workload distribution to optimize team productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other engineering managers and department heads to prioritize initiatives and allocate resources effectively.

  • Technical Expertise:
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team, ensuring alignment with best practices, architectural standards, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify solutions and drive architectural decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering
  • Proven track record of at least 2 years in a technical management role, leading high-performing engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Familiarity with Event-Driven Architecture (Kafka, RMQ) Elasticsearch, SQL, NoSQL, K8s, Kafka streams, etc.
