Business Intelligence Specialist

We are seeking a highly analytical professional to manage and optimize business performance, generate valuable insights through data analysis, and drive strategic decision-making.

The role involves developing and maintaining data-driven reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency, and supporting management in operational and tactical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis & Insights: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources, perform trend and root cause analysis on key business metrics, and provide actionable recommendations for growth and efficiency improvements.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track business performance against targets and forecasts, design and maintain performance scorecards and dashboards for different functions, and highlight risks and opportunities proactively.
  • Process Improvement: Work with cross-functional teams to streamline data collection and reporting processes, suggest automation opportunities (Excel, Power BI), and standardize templates and processes for efficiency.
  • Reporting: Develop, maintain, and automate regular MIS reports, consolidate financial and operational data into dashboards and presentations, and ensure accuracy and timeliness of all deliverables.

Competencies/Skillsets:

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, macros) and Power BI.
  • Understanding of financial and operational performance metrics.
  • Attention to detail with ability to interpret complex data.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Analytics.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in business analysis, data analytics, or MIS.
  • Experience in financial services/investments/payments preferred.
