Senior Test Engineer Position

This role involves the design and execution of test plans for electrical-electronics products, ensuring that they meet industry standards.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans to validate product performance, functionality, and reliability.
  • Develop detailed test cases, scripts, and maintain them in tools like Gitlab, Testmo, Rally, JIRA or equivalent systems.
  • Configure and manage test environments, including hardware setup and software configurations.
  • Create test reports and summarize project status, challenges, and risks for senior management.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in test engineering with a solid understanding of Verification and Validation (V&V) methodologies in product-based environments.
  • Proven expertise in testing firmware, hardware, and system integrity for electrical-electronics products, specifically UPS products, batteries, chargers, power electronics, automated control-based systems, and communication protocols.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with XIL-based testing - Model in Loop (MIL), Software in Loop (SIL), and Hardware in Loop using industry platforms like Vector, Speedgoat, Typhoon, dBase, etc.
  • ISTQB certification for software testing professionals.
