Job Title: Financial Markets Specialist

Location: Delhi, India (Vijayawada)

About the Role:

The successful candidate will support the Head of Treasury in managing external stakeholders, raising funds, ensuring compliance, and handling cash flow/liability management. Key responsibilities include managing fund raising and relationship building with banks and financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to raise funds and enhance relationships with banking partners.
  • Conduct credit rating surveillance and prepare compliance reports to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
  • Oversee debt servicing, liability management, and cash flow planning to optimize financial performance.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with public sector undertakings (PSUs) and private banks to facilitate transactions.
  • Prepare loan applications, CMA data, and documentation for disbursements to ensure timely completion of deals.
  • Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to vet transactions and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Drive fund raising efforts and expedite debt raising processes to meet business objectives.
  • Monitor credit ratings with multiple agencies to identify areas for improvement.
  • Arrange management calls and negotiate rating fee structures to minimize costs.
  • Manage post-disbursement compliances and due diligence reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure timely submission of RBI, NHB, and other regulatory returns to avoid penalties.
  • Manage liability dashboard, debt servicing, and investments in liquid funds/fixed deposits to optimize return on investment.
  • Support the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in cash flow management and cost of borrowing analysis to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Postgraduate in Finance (MBA Finance preferred).
  • 7-12 years' experience in fund raising for Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs)/Housing Finance Companies (HFCs).
  • Strong skills in negotiation, relationship management, and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with NBFC/NHB regulations, IND AS, and IGAAP.
  • Knowledge of National Housing Bank (NHB) refinancing is an advantage.
