We are seeking a skilled IT professional to join our enterprise migration initiative as a full-time member of our team.

This project involves two separate Active Directory forests and a strategic transition towards Entra ID (Azure AD) and PaaS-based DNS.

You will collaborate directly with architects and infrastructure teams to execute migration plans, automate key workflows, and troubleshoot complex identity-related issues within a secure and regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and document existing AD and DNS environments
  • Implement domain controller migrations and replication setup across multiple AD forests
  • Support integration and migration to Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Assist in transitioning DNS from Windows to a PaaS-based solution
  • Configure and manage DHCP scopes, conditional forwarders, and stub zones
  • Troubleshoot issues with LDAP, Kerberos, and NTLM-based authentication
  • Write and maintain PowerShell scripts for provisioning and automation
  • Execute infrastructure-as-code via Terraform within existing CI/CD pipelines
  • Follow detailed implementation plans provided by the architect or lead
  • Collaborate with the team through collaboration tools and participate in regular meetings
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5 - 10 years of hands-on experience with Active Directory (multi-domain or multi-forest environments)
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Active Directory
  • Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • PKI and NPS
  • DNS & DHCP (Windows Server and/or PaaS alternatives)
  • LDAP, Kerberos, and NTLM protocols
  • Identity protocols: OIDC, OAuth2, SAML
  • Experience with AD Trusts, Group Policy, OUs, and FSMO roles
  • Excellent scripting skills in PowerShell
  • Comfortable working in both legacy and modern hybrid cloud environments
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
  • Experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code concepts
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps preferred)
  • Experience with hybrid identity platforms (e.g., Azure AD Connect, ADFS)
  • Background in large-scale migrations of legacy apps dependent on AD
  • Understanding of IT compliance/governance in cloud-native infrastructure
