About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Project Leader to oversee the delivery of software development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and be able to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of software development projects (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid).
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are well understood and translated into effective solutions.
  • Review technical designs, understand Java code and frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.) to ensure feasibility and maintain alignment with project goals.
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and project reviews.
  • Track project risks, dependencies, and resolve blockers by coordinating across teams.
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables within scope, time, and budget.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, and stakeholder updates.
  • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders to simplify complex concepts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT, including at least 3–5 years in project management.
  • Hands-on background in Java/J2EE development with strong understanding of OOP, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, etc.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end SDLC projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Project Management tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Trello).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and risk management abilities.

Good to Have:

  • PMP, CSM, or PRINCE2 certification.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).
