Software Engineer - Solutions Architect

Cradlepoint is seeking a skilled and proactive Solutions Architect to join our Application Development and 3rd Level Support team. This role requires ensuring the cost-effective design, appropriate technology evolution, and overall reliability of our critical applications and tools.

Your contributions will be pivotal in maintaining the performance of our applications from both a product and end-to-end perspective, along with ensuring sufficient capacity to fulfill the growing business requirements and projections of our customers in the dynamic landscape.

  • You will be instrumental in ensuring smooth operation of systems.
  • Providing crucial support for executing complex changes, minimizing disruption and ensuring successful implementation.
  • Aiding in incident restoration and problem management support, rapidly addressing and resolving critical issues.
The Skills You Bring: Required Qualifications
  • Experience working on high-traffic mediation platforms like Nokia NCS22/24.
  • Programming skills in Perl, C, and Java.
  • Knowledge of containerization and cloud platforms, including Kubernetes and virtualization technologies.
  • Ability to design high-traffic solutions.
  • Prior experience handling critical Production emergencies.
  • Familiarity with UNIX, Linux, Clustering, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
  • Proficiency in Shell and Python scripting.
  • Strong understanding of IP networking and client-server concepts.
  • Understanding of 5G, CHF, VOICE, SMS, GSM/IN call flow, CAMEL.
  • Design documentation experience.
  • Good debugging and troubleshooting skills.
