Production Designer

The role of a Production Designer is crucial in bridging the gap between design and manufacturing for modular kitchens, wardrobes, doors, and turnkey interior projects.

As a Production Designer, you will be responsible for developing and preparing detailed 2D/3D production drawings for modular furniture and interiors. This includes coordinating with design, estimation, and production teams to finalize BOM, MRS (Material Requirement Sheet), and HRS (Hardware Requirement Sheet).

You will optimize designs for CNC routing & nesting machines to ensure precision and material efficiency. Additionally, you will maintain design standards, material specifications, and quality benchmarks. Collaboration with site engineers and supervisors for installation feasibility is also essential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and preparing detailed production drawings for modular furniture and interiors.
  • Coordinating with design, estimation, and production teams.
  • Optimizing designs for CNC routing & nesting machines.
  • Maintaining design standards, material specifications, and quality benchmarks.
  • Collaborating with site engineers and supervisors.

A strong understanding of modular furniture materials, such as HDHMR, MDF, WPC, plywood, laminates, acrylic, etc., is required. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, and CAM software is necessary for creating CNC-ready files.

We are seeking an experienced Production Designer with a diploma or degree in Interior Design / Architecture / Mechanical Drafting. A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in the modular/interiors industry is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines are essential qualities.
