About the Role

The Data Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting business units with data management, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance.

  • Expert Guidance & Training
  • Deliver training sessions to business users on data standards and processes.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for data objects across various domains.
  • Provide ongoing support and consultation to ensure correct usage and maintenance of data.
  • Data Maintenance
  • Execute data creation, updates, and deletions in line with defined SLAs.
  • Ensure high levels of accuracy and completeness in all data transactions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate and verify data inputs.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance
  • Monitor data quality and perform regular audits to identify inconsistencies or errors.
  • Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with internal data governance policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting & Analysis
  • Generate reports on data performance, SLA adherence, and data quality metrics.
  • Analyse trends and provide insights to improve data management practices.

Qualifications:

  • B.Tech /B.E/MCA/BCA/M.Sc-IT/CS
  • Experience: 4-8 years

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of data domains and governance principles.
  • Proficiency in data management tools and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and process efficiency.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Preferred Skills:

  • Performance Metrics
  • SLA compliance rate for data tasks.
  • Accuracy and completeness of data entries.
  • Number of training sessions conducted and user satisfaction scores.
  • Frequency and resolution rate of data quality issues.
