**Job Title:** Micro Architecture and Logic Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the design of high-performance systems. As a micro architecture and logic design specialist, you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions that drive business success.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in processor architecture and logic design, with expertise in on-chip interconnect topologies, SMP coherency, and queuing theory. They will also possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing and architecting different interconnect topologies as driven by bandwidth, latency, and RAS requirements
  • Developing features and presenting proposed architectures in high-level design discussions
  • Collaborating with verification, DFT, physical design, FW, and SW teams to develop and implement designs
  • Ensuring signoff of pre-silicon designs that meet all functional, area, and timing goals
  • Participating in silicon bring-up and validation of hardware

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • At least 1 generation of processor interconnect design delivery leadership experience
  • Expertise in SMP coherency and understanding of various snoop and data network protocols
  • Experience in different on-chip interconnect topologies (e.g., mesh, crossbar)
  • Understanding of latency & bandwidth requirements and effective means of implementation
  • Working knowledge of queuing theory and numa/nuca architecture
  • Proficient in HDLs - VHDL / Verilog and experience in high-speed and power-efficient logic design
  • Experience in working with verification, validation, physical design teams for design closure, including test plan reviews and verification coverage
  • Good understanding of physical design and ability to collaborate with physical design team for floor planning, wire layer usage and budgets, placement of blocks for achieving high-performance design
  • Experience in leading uarch, RTL design teams for feature enhancements
