Job Opportunity: Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT infrastructure specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Windows server administration, SCCM, and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows servers 2012, 2016, and 2019.
  • Patching and Upgrades: Patch Windows Servers using SCCM and upgrade the operating system to Windows Server 2019.
  • System Management: Set up, configure, and manage SCCM, Active Directory, vSphere, IIS, SMTP, SFTP, FTP, and Server Hardware.
  • Automation: Automate processes through scripting using Python and PowerShell.
  • Troubleshooting: Configure and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, WSUS, SCCM, AV GPOs.
  • Support and Maintenance: Support day-to-day operational issues and runtime operations.
  • CLOUD TECHNOLOGIES: Hands-on experience on AWS, including spinning up EC2 instances, patching in AWS, and disk expansions using AWS tools.
  • Communication Skills: Communicate complex topics to stakeholders.
  • Hands-on Experience: Basic hands-on experience with VMware.
  • Deployment Issues: Handling deployment issues with Ansible pertaining to Windows servers.
  • Vulnerability Management: Vulnerability management – Zero-day ad-hoc vulnerabilities, domain controllers.
  • ITIL Process: Using ITIL process and ticketing tools (Familiarity with ServiceNow is a plus).
  • Storage Hardware: Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of ESX servers 6 and 7, firmware patches and upgrades.
  • Switch Management: Ability to manage switches and related configuration.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: College degree in a technical field or equivalent industry-related experience.
  • Certifications: Any AWS certification would be an added plus, any Microsoft certification would be an added plus, any VMware certification would be an added plus.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
