Automation Test Engineer Position

  • Responsibilities include designing and implementing automated test scripts using Python, developing and maintaining mobile automation frameworks using tools like Appium, and performing functional, regression, and performance testing of mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to identify test requirements, integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab, and analyze test results, report defects, and help troubleshoot issues.
  • Additional responsibilities include creating and maintaining test documentation, including test cases and plans, as well as ensuring the highest level of quality in all delivered products.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in test automation using Python.
  • Be familiar with mobile testing tools such as Appium, UIAutomator, or XCUITest, and have a good understanding of mobile platforms (Android and iOS).
  • Experience with testing REST APIs using tools like Postman or Python libraries (e.g., requests) is also highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with test frameworks like PyTest, Robot Framework, or unittest, as well as experience with version control systems like Git, is required.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI, as well as strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills, are essential for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Having experience with performance testing or security testing tools would be an advantage.
  • Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs would also be beneficial.
  • Relevant QA certifications, such as ISTQB, would be highly valued.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies would be an added asset.
