AI Engineer Role Overview

The role of AI Engineer involves designing, developing, and deploying autonomous agents that reason, learn, and act in dynamic environments.

Key responsibilities include architecting and implementing scalable AI systems, researching and prototyping machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) models, particularly in natural language processing (NLP) and natural language understanding (NLU).

Additionally, the successful candidate will build intelligent legal agents capable of document interpretation, decision-making, and collaboration with users or other agents to complete multi-step tasks.

  • Architect and implement scalable agentic AI systems that execute complex workflows and reason over legal data.
  • Research, prototype, and productionize ML/DL models, especially in NLP/NLU.

  • Utilize frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, OpenAI Function Calling, and Semantic Kernel to develop multi-agent workflows.

  • Design robust infrastructure for managing the AI lifecycle: training, inference, monitoring, and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate closely with legal experts, product managers, and engineers to develop explainable and trustworthy AI systems.
  • Contribute to the development of AI strategies for agent-based automation in contract management.
