Shopify Front End Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shopify front-end developer to join our development team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the client side of our Shopify e-commerce platform using DOM manipulation, asynchronous JavaScript, and complex CSS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Theme Development: Develop and customize Shopify themes using DOM manipulation, asynchronous JavaScript, complex CSS, Liquid, and meta fields.
  • User Experience (UX): Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize them for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Code Reusability: Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Tech Stays Current: Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies and apply them to development.
Requirements:
  • Shopify Expertise: Strong knowledge of Shopify including Liquid syntax, Shopify Objects, customizer, meta fields, and the Shopify admin panel.
  • CSS and JavaScript Mastery: Experience working with JavaScript and related libraries such as jQuery and Vue.js.
  • DOM Manipulation: Knowledge of DOM manipulation and advanced CSS selectors.
  • Responsive Design: Familiarity with responsive design and media queries.
Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
