Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality through manual and automated testing, collaborating with developers and product teams, and improving QA processes to deliver seamless user experience.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing web, mobile, and backend applications, with a strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will design, document, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans for web, mobile, and backend applications. You will perform manual functional testing as well as contribute to automation for regression and repetitive tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, document, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans for web, mobile, and backend applications.
  • Perform manual functional testing as well as contribute to automation for regression and repetitive tasks.
  • Test APIs (REST/GraphQL) for functionality, data validation, error handling, and performance.
  • Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing for responsive web and mobil
  • Report, track, and verify defects using Jira (or equivalent bug tracking tool).
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of experience in QA/testing for Web, Mobile, and Backend systems.
  • Hands-on experience in manual testing and exposure to automation testing.
  • Familiarity with tools & frameworks:
  • Web: Selenium / Cypress / Playwright
  • Mobile: Appium / Espresso / XCUITest
  • API: Postman / REST Assured / JMeter
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data validation.
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
