">About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for executing all safety-related policies at the site, identifying, resolving/mitigating or escalating key risks as per overall safety policies, regulations & standards. Key responsibilities include following established safety policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and providing support in the interpretation and implementation of safety-related policies to line management.
">Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain a comprehensive safety management system, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Develop, review, and update safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement controls to mitigate hazards and prevent accidents.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents, and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Monitor and report on safety performance metrics, including incident rates, injury frequencies, and compliance data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety into business operations and decision-making processes.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Science, preferably in Mechanical/Chemical/Instrumentation/Chemistry.
- A minimum of 3-7 years of experience in process industry site operations/maintenance, with 2-3 years of experience handling HSE.
- Strong knowledge of safety-related compliances, technical understanding of operations, regulations, and legal compliance.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Salary Estimate:
We offer a competitive salary of ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
