Job Role:

The Azure Cloud Architect will be responsible for enhancing the scalability, cost efficiency, and performance of our cloud-based infrastructure.

This part-time, on-demand role is suited for professionals with deep expertise in cloud computing who can guide, implement, and optimize cloud usage while aligning with business agility and growth needs.

  • Conduct periodic reviews of cloud resource utilization (compute, storage, databases, etc.).
  • Optimize cloud spend while ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Implement governance frameworks, tagging, and monitoring dashboards.
  • Advise on architecture improvements for high availability, security, and compliance.
  • Recommend and configure automation for DevOps pipelines (GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps).
  • Support scaling across global regions.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to internal teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, Serverless).
  • Proven track record in cloud cost optimization and DevOps best practices.
  • Strong understanding of cloud services, microservices, DevOps pipelines, and CI/CD automation.
  • Familiarity with cloud migration and deployment strategies.
  • Experience with fast-growth environments preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills for remote, on-demand consulting.

About This Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to join our team on a part-time basis. As a consultant, you will work closely with our engineers to enhance our cloud infrastructure and ensure optimal performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for conducting regular reviews of our cloud resources, optimizing spend, and implementing governance frameworks. Additionally, you will advise on architecture improvements, recommend automation for DevOps pipelines, and support scaling across global regions.

What You'll Need:

To be successful in this role, you will need 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure, a proven track record in cloud cost optimization, and a strong understanding of cloud services, microservices, and DevOps pipelines.
