Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a seasoned Operations Manager with extensive experience in managing complex manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Analyzing production workflows to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Coordinating the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of machinery used in SMT, molding, cable manufacturing, and pneumatic systems.
  • Selecting suitable machines and equipment for product design and development.
  • Leveraging expertise in automation equipment to streamline production processes.
  • Designing and developing products using molding machines, cable equipment, test equipment, material handling equipment, jigs, fixtures, hydraulics, and mold designs.
  • Selecting raw materials, including cables and connectors for cable assembly manufacturing.
  • Conducting cable testing, selecting testers, and procuring spares.
  • Preparing process layouts and facilities.
  • Planning and managing production, including work-in-progress tracking and inventory control.
  • Comparing planned vs actual outputs, monitoring yields, and implementing waste management and scrap reduction strategies.
  • Maintaining knowledge of machine processes and setups.
  • Troubleshooting equipment efficiency and calibrating equipment as needed.
  • Performing preventive maintenance activities, including monitoring machine performance and maintaining machine history records.
  • Providing training and awareness to machine operators on safety and operating procedures.
  • Recording machine downtime and open issues.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, 7 Quality tools, Kaizen, PDCA, and SWOT Analysis.
  • Developing working knowledge of ERP/SAP systems.
  • Participating in internal and external audits, preparing documents, and ensuring compliance with ISO, UL, and other quality certifications.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in operations management or related role.
  • Proven track record of improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing quality.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.
