Job Role: Taxation Manager Assistant

This role focuses on end-to-end indirect tax management, including compliance, assessments, and litigations.

We are looking for a Chartered Accountant with 1-2 years' post-qualification experience in managing indirect taxes for clients. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of indirect taxes, ERP systems, MS Office, and excellent communication skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Indirect tax assessments: VAT, CST & GST tax assessments/appeals, data collation, team collaboration, providing clarifications to consultants, strategizing tax responses, reviewing tax submissions.
    • Direct tax compliance: data collation, providing clarifications to consultants, timely payment of taxes, filing returns.
    • Other tax projects/tax R&D: support to team on tax optimization projects.

Required Skills:

  • Chartered Accountant with 1-2 years' post-qualification experience.
  • Strong indirect tax knowledge, ERP systems (SAP S/4 Hana), MS Office, inter-personal skills, communication skills, fluency in English.
  • Reliable with a strong sense of integrity and compliance, able to work independently, drive projects end-to-end.
