Job Title

A Global Programs Director manages the delivery of programs at our organization that help students prepare for life, aligning with our core purpose and values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Community Outreach: Assess needs, design curriculum, and coordinate outreach initiatives to develop empathy in students. Foster partnerships with external organizations and create opportunities for students to volunteer and run change-making initiatives at government schools.
  • Internships: Ensure students complete internships, present reports, and are evaluated based on their presentations. Internships provide relevant skills and experience, guiding students in choosing their career path and college applications.
  • Field Trips and Guest Lectures: Organize real-life exposures for students through field trips and guest lectures, managed through partnerships and collaborations with faculty members.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Planning & Multi-Tasking: Work effectively in high-intensity environments, handling complex projects and managing multiple tasks.
  • Communication: Engage with stakeholders – parents, educators, and external partners – through excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Apply basic data understanding to identify patterns and trends, drawing meaningful conclusions.
  • Data and Information Management: Organize and save data concerning programs, processes, and best practices for dissemination.
  • Taking Initiative and Persistence: Believe in new ideas and persuade teams to follow through.

Experience and Education

  • 6-8 years of experience designing and managing educational projects and teams.
  • Prior experience organizing physical and online events/programs.
  • Domain knowledge of Skills Development programs/Social Work/Education/Psychology/Sociology/Entrepreneurship/Child Rights/Impact assessment.
  • Masters in any of the mentioned domains.
  • Excellent communication skills in English language.
  • Familiarity with spoken Kannada is an advantage.
