Job Description

The Process Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of process systems, ensuring they meet the required standards. This includes creating process flow diagrams (PFD), utility flow diagrams (UFD), and plant data sheets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing process designs and specifications.
  • Creating P&IDs, interlock descriptions, and cause & effect diagrams.
  • Writing operating instructions and functional analyses.
  • Establishing mass and heat balances.
  • Designing and implementing control systems.

Additionally, the successful candidate will contribute to HAZOPs/HAZID/SIL/LOPA sessions and prepare close-out reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in chemical or mechanical engineering.
  • At least 10-15 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, preferably with knowledge of hydrogen projects.
  • Experience in P&ID realization and functional analysis writing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD software.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.

Prior experience with process simulation software (e.g., ASPEN) is also advantageous.
