Workday Specialist Opportunity

This role entails collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive Workday solutions. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Workday functionality and be able to design and implement tailored configurations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requirements gathering and definition: Investigate business and technical requirements for clients, working collaboratively with analysts and architects to clarify needs and priorities.
  • Designing Workday solutions to meet client needs.
  • Conducting sessions with client personnel to verify required aspects of the concerned module.
  • Configuring based on filled workbooks.
  • Performing self-reviews and smoke testing of delivered work and reviewing peer's work.
  • Application testing: Assisting clients with testing of the concerned functional module.
  • Production support: Supporting the Workday solution for a period post deployment.
  • Migration activities and production rollout: Assisting with rollout of the Workday solution into the production environment.
Requirements:
  • Excellent technical and functional skills across functional areas required for developing and delivering complex solutions across client implementations.
  • Thorough configuration build knowledge.
  • Through knowledge of migrations, data conversion, and reporting concepts.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Adaptability to learn new skills.
  • Self-driven.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Workday project lifecycle.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday, particularly in Absence/ Time Tracking/ Benefits/ HCM/ Compensation/ Recruiting/ Talent and Performance / Payroll modules.
  • In-depth knowledge of Workday object model and solution design approach.
  • Knowledge of functional areas.
  • Self-motivated and ability to learn quickly through individual research and self-training.
  • Ability to absorb new technologies and features quickly.
  • Ability to train users in a classroom setting.
  • Effective knowledge transfer skills in non-classroom environment.
  • Passion for customer service.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
Education:
  • B.E / B.Tech / MCA / BSc degree or equivalent qualification.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in Workday and overall 12 years' experience is minimum.
