Cloud Data Engineering Lead

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Cloud Data Engineering Lead to spearhead the design and implementation of scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
About the Role:
- Develop and maintain large-scale data warehouses on GCP using BigQuery and other tools.
- Leverage expertise in ETL pipelines, batch, and streaming data processing techniques to ensure high-quality data ingestion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions that meet business requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud data engineering.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in cloud data engineering with a focus on GCP and ETL.
- Strong knowledge of GCP services including GCS, PubSub, Dataflow, DataProc, BigQuery, and Airflow/Composer.
- Proficiency in Python programming language.
- Experience with database management systems, including SQL databases.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Bonus Points:
- Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of security best practices for data storage and transmission.
