Job Title: Database Administrator

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to take on the responsibility of technical database support, infrastructure management, and application support.

  • Hands-on experience working with Oracle database activities, SQL, OEM, Golden Gate Replication (CDC & BDA), RAC/EXA Setup.
  • Expertise in SQL Profiling/Performance Tuning, Database Monitoring, Backup and Restore, Data Guard, Grid Control Toolset, etc.
  • Responsibility for providing technical database support to infrastructure, applications, and other components and processes.
  • Active participation in planning, development of specifications, and other supporting documentation and processes.
  • Familiarity with finance/banking industry terminology, data, and data structures is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server as well as Oracle databases and Identity Framework.
  • Proven technical knowledge in specialty area with basic understanding of complementary infrastructures.
  • A fast learner with ability to dive into new products and technologies, develop subject matter expertise, and drive projects to completion.
  • A team player with good written and verbal communication skills that can mentor other members in the production support group.
  • Candidates having experience and knowledge in scripting languages like ksh, Perl, etc., would be preferred for this role.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes.
  • Effective utilization of monitoring tools.

Requirements:

  • 8-12 years of experience in Database Administration.
  • Experience in working with Oracle databases.
  • Expertise in SQL, OEM, Golden Gate Replication, RAC/EXA Setup, SQL Profiling/Performance Tuning, Database Monitoring, Backup and Restore, Data Guard, Grid Control Toolset, etc.
  • Good understanding of finance/banking industry terminology, data, and data structures.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and drive projects to completion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Working Hours:

5 days a week from office.
