We're seeking a skilled Product Development Engineer to play a key role in shaping the future of our product line and contributing to our growth strategy.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in sourcing and developing components within the mechanical, electronics, mechatronics, or electric vehicle (EV) sector. You will leverage your domain knowledge to collaborate with suppliers, refine products for manufacturability, and contribute to our portfolio with a focus on future-ready mobility solutions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design & Prototype Key Components: Design and prototype wheelchair frames, drive modules, and ergonomic components that meet our high standards for quality and performance.
  • Market Insights & Trends: Assist in gathering insights on market needs and consumer trends to inform product development and ensure our products meet customer demands.
  • Structural Engineering: Engineer lightweight, robust load-bearing structures that undergo Finite Element Analysis (FEA) validation to ensure durability and safety.
  • Integration & Testing: Integrate motors, batteries, and control systems with structural design and conduct thorough testing for durability, safety, and compliance.
  • Collaboration & Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors for precision fabrication and quality delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective production.
  • Process Optimization: Optimize materials and processes for cost, weight, and performance, maintaining accurate documentation of product specifications, changes, and manufacturing processes.
Requirements:
  • B.E./M.E. in Mechanical, Automotive, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • 2–4 years' experience in product development (mobility, automotive, or structural products).
  • Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks/AutoCAD).
  • Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and prototyping.
  • Exposure to EV/mechatronic systems is a plus.
