We are seeking a highly skilled Database Professional to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining database objects, including tables, views, stored procedures and functions. They will also be expected to optimize T-SQL queries, indexes and execution plans to ensure high performance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop database objects using SQL Server 2016/2019/2022.
  2. Optimize T-SQL queries, indexes and execution plans for high performance.
  3. Collaborate with application developers to design normalized and scalable data structures.
  4. SUPPORT cross-platform integration with Oracle databases (PL/SQL).
  5. BUILD and maintain ETL pipelines (primarily using SSIS; Oracle ETL exposure is a plus).
  6. Implement and monitor database security, backup, recovery and high availability (Always On Availability Groups, clustering).
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, blocking/deadlocks and optimize resource utilization.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in SQL Server database development.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019/2022).
  • Hands-on experience with T-SQL development (stored procedures, triggers, functions, views).
  • Proven skills in performance tuning, indexing and execution plan analysis.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL (procedures, packages, functions).
  • Experience with SSIS or equivalent ETL tools.
  • Strong knowledge of backup/recovery strategies, high availability and disaster recovery.
