Treasury Manager

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for overseeing daily cash management activities, reconciling corporate bank accounts, and ensuring compliance with treasury policies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

The selected individual will be responsible for

  • Reconciling corporate bank accounts daily as part of the daily cash projection process.
  • Reviewing and preparing weekly cash reporting for distribution.
  • Escalating unresolved issues with banks related to store deposit accounts.
  • Preparing monthly cash, deferred financing, and treasury accrual journal entries.
  • Entering journal entries into accounting software.
  • Managing online banking and credit card portals.
  • Compiling and uploading files for monthly compliance reporting.
  • Reviewing account analysis for accuracy and resolving discrepancies with banks.
  • Ordering bank supplies for stores as needed.
  • Preparing audit documentation related to loans or banking requests.
  • Supporting preparation of treasury-related budget items.
  • Managing all banking and treasury activities for new store openings and closures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Treasury, Cash Management, or a similar finance role.
  • Strong understanding of banking operations and cash flow management.
  • Proficiency in accounting software preferred.
  • Strong Excel and financial reporting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
