Job Title: Electrical and Instrumentation Manager

About the Role:

The Electrical and Instrumentation Manager will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient management of preventive maintenance and breakdowns of instruments and electrical equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of departmental activities for instrumentation and electrical aspects.
  • Handling and ensuring compliance related to Nucleonic Gauge, working as a Radiological Safety Officer for the organization.
  • Ensuring timely compliance of Instrumentation (Weights and Measure Metrology related, GPCB related, etc.) and Electrical (Annual Inspection, DG set registration & Duty filing, Communication with DGVCL/GETCO, Etc.).
  • Experience on Rockwell Automation PLC System (Control Logix, PLANT PAX, FT BATCH, SCADA AND LOGIC programming development).
  • Experience of SAP and SAP Plant Maintenance module. (Notification, Work Order management).
  • Install, commission, and validate new equipment. Instrument and Electrical related Mechanical support designing, fabrication through vendors.
  • Sizing and selection of proper instruments (knowledge of Mass Flow meter, Pressure transmitter, Thermocouple, Magnetic Flowmeter, pH Meter, Turbidity meter, Conductivity meter, Ozone Generator, Weighing system, Etc)
  • Contract manpower planning, assigning them jobs daily and ensuring safe maintenance.

Requirements:

  • B.E. / B.Tech. – Instrumentation or Electronics & Communication with 10-12 years of experience in maintenance of plant.
  • Additional requirements - Training cum Certification- course on Radiation Safety Aspects of Nucleonic Gauges.
  • Active registration on ELORA AERB Website for Radiation Professional.

Additional Skills and Abilities Required:
Power management. Fluency in English, Gujarati, and Hindi language. Experience in SAP is preferred. PLC programming.
