Leadership Procurement Role

This position is responsible for leading the procurement department in achieving competitive pricing on steel products and consumables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute tactical plans to minimize input costs.
  • Create strategic plans to ensure long-term business objectives are met.
  • Manage vendors across all verticals and business groups to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Evaluate bids and award contracts for materials and services.
  • Ensure purchase orders include financial comments from the finance department.
  • Implement checks and balances for steel purchases and maintain compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate logistics documentation and certification.
  • Conduct site visits as required.
  • Review audit observations and implement corrective actions.
  • Improve ERP system utilization and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Maintain information flow between departments and submit regular MIS reports.
