Embedded systems security is a critical aspect of protecting businesses and organizations from cyber threats.

We are seeking a skilled Freelance FPGA Engineer to support the design and development of real-time embedded and industrial control systems.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and developing FPGA-based solutions using Verilog and/or VHDL. Experience with Xilinx and/or Altera FPGAs and design tools (Vivado, Quartus, ModelSim) is also required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing FPGA-based solutions for embedded and industrial control systems.
  • Using FPGA design tools to simulate, test, and optimize real-time embedded systems.
  • Developing and integrating embedded software with microcontrollers, FPGAs, ARM, and/or x86 processors.

Qualifications include:

  • A minimum of 5 years of industry experience or 2+ years with a Master's degree.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Collaboration with government agencies, universities, and industry partners on embedded systems research and development is expected.

Contribution to technical publications, patents, and open-source projects is also anticipated.
