Job Title: Embedded Systems Developer

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Yocto-based Embedded Linux distributions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Embedded Linux BSP development and at least 1 year of hands-on experience with the Yocto Project. You will also need to have solid knowledge of the Linux kernel, bootloaders (U-Boot, etc.), and device drivers.

Additionally, you should be proficient in C programming and cross-compilation toolchains. Experience with build systems, version control (Git), and debugging tools is also essential.

In this position, you will work closely with hardware and application teams to ensure seamless system integration. Your strong analytical skills and attention to detail will be crucial in providing debugging and root cause analysis for system-level issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Yocto-based Embedded Linux distributions.
  • Design, implement, and customize Board Support Packages (BSPs) for target hardware.

  • Optimize system performance, boot time, and memory usage.
  • Implement and maintain secure boot and update mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with hardware and application teams for system integration.
  • Provide debugging and root cause analysis for system-level issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in Embedded Linux BSP development.
  • Minimum 1 year hands-on experience with Yocto Project.
  • Solid knowledge of Linux kernel, bootloaders (U-Boot, etc.), and device drivers.
  • Proficiency in C programming and cross-compilation toolchains.
