As a senior financial analyst, you will be responsible for managing various types of cash reconciliations. This involves ensuring accuracy and timeliness in the completion of daily reconciliation activities.
You will also be responsible for identifying ownership for breaks and reporting these issues to the relevant owner. Escalation of issues will be handled via pre-agreed criteria and matrix.
Key Responsibilities- Day-to-Day Reconciliation Activity: Completion of day-to-day reconciliation activity as per standards and ensure accurate and timely delivery of assigned production duties.
- Cut-off Times and Quality Processing: Ensuring team adherence to all cut-off times and quality of processing as maintained in SLAs.
- Query Resolution: Responding to all queries related to routine activities within the time frame specified.
- Break Identification and Assignment: Identifying the cause and assigning the cash break to the correct team for further investigation & resolution.
- Issue Escalation: Escalating all issues in time, to the appropriate level, to avoid any adverse impact on the business.
- Process Improvement: Providing input into local operations processes and workflows to deliver best practice, efficiency and mitigate risk.
- Reconciliation Expertise: Strong knowledge of Reconciliation, Swifts, Payments, and accounting principles.
- Initiative and Self-Direction: Ability to undertake initiatives as a self-starter.
- Diligence and Attention to Detail: Diligent and attention to detail.
- Excel Proficiency: Proficient in MS Excel.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and address issues.
