We are seeking a highly skilled financial professional to join our team as an Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our organization.

About the Role

The Accountant will perform daily income journal loading and reconcile revenues with supporting reports from property management systems. They will also manage bank reconciliations across multiple hotel accounts, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Income Journal Loading: Perform daily income journal loading and reconcile revenues with supporting reports from property management systems.
  2. Bank Reconciliations: Manage bank reconciliations across multiple hotel accounts, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
  3. Month-End Close Activities: Support month-end close activities including accruals, prepaid expenses, depreciation, and intercompany allocations.
  4. General Ledger Entries: Maintain accurate general ledger entries, trial balance, and balance sheet schedules.
  5. Accounts Payable: Process and monitor accounts payable (AP) — vendor invoices, utility bills, and expense reimbursements.
  6. Accounts Receivable: Handle accounts receivable (AR) — guest ledger, city ledger, and third-party billing reconciliations.
  7. Multi-Currency Accounting: Oversee multi-currency accounting transactions, ensuring compliance with foreign exchange policies.
  8. Financial Statements: Prepare and validate financial statements, P&L reports, and variance analysis for multiple properties.
  9. Revenue Recognition: Ensure proper revenue recognition in line with US GAAP and company accounting policies.
  10. Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow for assigned hotels and prepare daily cash reports.
