Job Summary:

We seek a highly experienced L4 Unified Communications engineer to lead the design and implementation of scalable dial plans, end-to-end call flows, and failover strategies for our clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and troubleshoot Unified Communications systems, including CUCM, CUC, IM & Presence, and Expressways.
  • Develop expertise in PSTN Trunking & Interoperability, including SIP trunks, PRIs with carriers, codec negotiation, SIP headers, PRIs, and call routing logic.
  • Configure advanced IOS gateway setup (MGCP, H.323, SIP), dial peers, DSP resources, and survivability strategies for CUBE & Voice Gateway configurations.
  • Understand Analog Devices such as Analog Gateways, Analog Phones, Fax Devices, DTMF & Dial-tone behavior, FXS/FXO Ports.
  • Migrate IPT solutions on UCS platforms or deploy cloud-based collaboration (Webex Calling, Cisco HCS).

Key Skills:

  • Forecast growth and design scalable dial plans to manage bandwidth across WAN links.
  • Arcitect failover strategies, backup systems, and DR testing protocols.
  • Integrate IPT with third-party systems (CRM, ERP, SIP endpoints, SBCs).
  • Lead change advisory boards, document impact assessments, and enforce configuration standards.
