Job Overview:
  • As a key member of the underwriting team, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating Card and Loan applications to ensure they meet uniform policy, procedure, and guideline requirements.
  • You will also be responsible for ascertaining the creditworthiness of individual retail customers through comprehensive financial and cash flow analysis.
  • Maintain Service Level Agreements for processing applications and assist in structuring loans within approved bank policies.
  • Recommend policy and product changes to stakeholders to introduce new developments in existing guidelines.
  • Maintain consistent judgmental lending decisions to optimize portfolio health and maximize profitability.
  • Regularly evaluate approval/reject rates, work processes, and controls.
  • Manage third-party relationships, data quality, and cost control, including overall demand management.
  • Ensure efficient consumption and resilient operations of the decision infrastructure and collaborate with Risk and Products on strategy changes that improve customer outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • A minimum of one of the following qualifications is required:
    • FRM, PRMIA, CA, ICWA, CS, CFA, M.Com, or equivalent qualification;
    • MBA Finance or equivalent;
    • MSC/MS Finance or equivalent;
    • PGDM, PGDBM, or PGDRM or equivalent;
    • Certificate Examination in Certified Credit Professional - IIBF;
    • Diploma Certification Course in Risk Management - NIBM.
