  • Create and execute operational strategies to drive profitable growth in underwriting.
  • Evaluate existing portfolios and recommend optimization opportunities for enhanced revenue streams.
  • Develop business cases, operating plans, and initiatives to ensure sustained growth and market leadership.
  • Collaborate on product development and strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of regulatory frameworks, industry best practices, underwriting standards, and internal guidelines.
  • Manage key relationships with intermediaries, fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Prioritize customer needs, delivering timely solutions and support through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Nurture strong working relationships with customers, brokers, colleagues, and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities, self-insurance prospects, and underwriting requirements to meet evolving business needs.
  • Establish robust measurement techniques and reporting systems to monitor portfolio performance.
  • Analyze trends, opportunities, and challenges, taking corrective action as necessary to optimize results.
